Who we are

Cortaguilar Systems (“we”, “us”) runs this website and decides how the information you send through it is used. For any privacy question or request, email m.profeta@cortaguilarsystems.com.

What we collect

When you use the inquiry or call-request form, we receive what you type:

• Your name and email address
• Optionally: your business or website, the service you’re interested in, your budget, your phone or WhatsApp number, and your message
• For call requests: your preferred day, time of day, and time zone
• Whether you asked us to keep your inquiry confidential

When you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever your message contains.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the page, keep the site secure, and block spam. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your information.

Why we use it

• To reply to your inquiry, arrange a call, and prepare a quote
• To deliver the work we agree on, if you become a client
• To keep the website secure and stop spam and abuse
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations

We process your information because you asked us to contact you, to take steps toward an agreement with you, and for our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Confidentiality

We do not name our clients, show their stores or businesses, or share their results without written permission. If you tick “Keep this confidential” on the form, we treat your inquiry as confidential from the start. We’ll sign a non-disclosure agreement if you ask. For store and account work, we ask you to create a user account with limited access for us. We never ask for your main password.

Who helps us process it

We use a small number of trusted service providers. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, security, and privacy-friendly visit counts
• Resend: delivers form submissions to our inbox
• Google Workspace: our email, where inquiries are received and answered

These providers may process information on servers outside the Philippines. They use industry-standard safeguards to protect it.

How long we keep it

If an inquiry does not lead to a project, we delete it within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

How we protect it

The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. The form has spam and abuse protection. Access to our inbox and accounts is limited and protected.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• Be informed about how your information is used
• Access the information we hold about you
• Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
• Object to processing, or withdraw your consent
• Ask us to delete or block your information
• Receive a copy of your information in a common format
• Be compensated for damages caused by inaccurate or unauthorized use
• File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph)

To use any of these rights, email m.profeta@cortaguilarsystems.com. We will reply within 24 hours on business days and complete your request as soon as we can.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
